FINAL PROJECT & RUBRIC

Below we have attached your assignment for your final project so you can better help with your book choice.

The objective of this final project is to become more accustomed with hispanic literature. Throughout this unit, you have been introduced to the lives of hispanic students in the United States. By choosing another hispanic literature book, you will demonstrate what you have learned throughout this unit and how you can apply it.

Your task is to find a hispanic literature book that you would teach in a secondary classroom. Once you have found a book you would like to teach, create a one day lesson plan/overview posted on your BLOG.

Due Date: Tuesday, March 30th (Posted on your blog by class).

The lesson plan/overview should include:

-Objective
-Lesson plan title
-Hispanic literature book being used
-Supplementary texts used
-Level of the classroom
-Activities
-Detailed plan of how you will teach this material
-How the book is being presented
-Assessment

Remember, the goal of this project is to assess what and how you have learned about hispanic literature. This project will be looked at as more of an exploration of what you have learned and how you would plan to teach this information, rather than a very cut and dry project.
